The young biologist and prodigy, Lydia Martin, is hired to investigate life forms on alien territory. Within a week on their initial mission, the crew find themselves trapped in their vessel with an unknown viral disease. One which, much like rabies, targets the brain and is inevitably fatal. Except this virus seems to have its own agenda, finding the ideal human carrier to continue spreading the infection.
